Everybody loves a good competition. We've got rap battles, lip sync battles, dance offs and our personal favorite — dueling piano bars in Las Vegas.

There's just something about a good dueling piano show. The party grows as the night goes on and after a few cocktails the crowd starts singing along to the hits that everyone knows. Just try and stop yourself from belting out 'Sweet Caroline' and 'Piano Man' when you hear those first few familiar notes. We dare you.

In Las Vegas we can do one better than dueling pianos. How about dueling piano bars? Yep, we've got two favorites – The Piano Bar at Harrah's Las Vegas and Napoleon's Dueling Pianos at Paris Las Vegas.

If you're looking for fun things to do in Las Vegas, put these at the top of your list. Here's what we love about them:

The Piano Bar at Harrah's

So we've already established that dueling pianos are pretty great. How do you make a piano battle even better? Put identical twin sisters on the keys to compete for applause. Talk about sibling rivalry. The Piano Bar features Kim and Tamara Pinegar playing hits nightly at 9 p.m. You'll probably hear everything from AC/DC to Bruno Mars.

Paris Las Vegas

Bonus: It may not be a duel, but Martin Kaye's 'Setting the Keys on Fire' is definitely worth checking out at The Piano Bar every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 – 6 p.m. Kaye portrays Jerry Lee Lewis in 'Million Dollar Quartet Las Vegas' at Harrah's and let's just say if you've ever seen him play the piano you'll know that 'Setting the Keys on Fire' is no exaggeration.

Napoleon's Dueling Pianos at Paris Las Vegas

If you want your dueling pianos with a side of sophistication, head to the swanky Napoleon's Lounge. You'll feel like you're hanging out in Louis XIV's living room with the red curtains and dark wood paneled walls lined in gold.

Every night, Napoleon's hosts a dueling piano show. There's no cover but there's a two-drink minimum. Considering the wine list, cognacs and dessert drinks on the menu, that shouldn't be a problem. We suggest the Midnight in Paris, made with Godiva chocolate liqueur.

The piano players keep the fun going from 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. with all of the party classics and current hits. Dying to hear that Journey song? Just give your requests to the players – along with a tip – and you'll be sure to hear it.

So which dueling piano bar is the best? Check them both out and we'll let you be the judge. Either way, you're in for a great night of Vegas entertainment.

www.facebook.com/Dont-Tell-Mama

Cost: Free

A New York transplant known for featuring local talent as well as imported artists from its New York roots, Don't Tell Mama is a popular spot for locals and visitors who love live music with a cabaret flair. The talent here is just as impressive as anything you'll find in the Big Apple, and the 'New York State of Mind' is definitely present here. This bar is off-Strip in the stylish Fremont East district, just a short cab ride from the main drag. Inside the venue you'll find a vintage-style atmosphere playing into a nostalgic fantasy experience that you can dress up for if the mood strikes. This venue is romantic, but comfortable, and appeals mainly to patrons in their mid-20s to late 30s. Don't Tell Mama is a great pick for an offbeat, yet classy date location. Music starts nightly at 7 p.m., but arrive early for a table as the venue is on the smaller side.
